Implementing management processes to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality completion of all WPs, tasks and deliverables, including administrative, technical, diversity & inclusion and quality management.
WP1 implements management processes to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality completion of all WPs, tasks and deliverables. Furthermore, the administrative, technical, diversity & inclusion and quality management is implemented to meet the requirements of the EC, EIT and HEInnovate, consortium and relevant stakeholder groups.
This task manages contractual, financial and administrative matters. Project management uses methods and tools that have proven effective and successful in EU projects, as well as principles of lean project organisation and control, such as project quality assurance, risk identification and data exchange. The management structure enables proactive problem solving with clear mechanisms for conflict resolution. A detailed risk management including a contingency plan will be established at the beginning of the project. The Project Manager is the main point of contact for interaction with the EIT and third parties.
This task creates the framework conditions and helps to ensure the coordination of developments and the quality of results. Since evaluation/development/integration is carried out in several WPs and has to be coordinated, this task assists during planning and coordination of separate activities. The coordinator organises regular update meetings to ensure the monitoring of task implementation. The WP leader and task participants carry out the first review of results, which are then assigned to two randomly selected partners for further review. If necessary, results are reviewed by advisory board members or associated partners.
The project follows the objectives and measures of the Open Research Data pilot project. The aim is to improve and maximise access to and re-use of data from this project. This task also ensures sound communication between the consortium, EIT and the external stakeholders, implementation and coordination of ethical oversight procedures.
The consortium clearly stands for an approach of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) at all levels of the HEI and entrepreneurship and innovation activities relevant to the project. D&I Management in the project context refers to the responsible management of diversity, including age, gender, nationality and religion. "Responsible" means that diversity and variety are recognised and used as a competitive advantage. Direct and indirect as well as structural and institutional discrimination should be prevented. Particular attention is also paid to the inclusion of people with disabilities.
The Handbook provides all partners with useful information, including procedures and instructions for reporting and working with the project management tools. It will also include the ethics and inclusion protocols of the project.
